Experience
Felicity has been playing violin for 14 years and is passionate about sharing her love for folk and contemporary violin music.
Since a young age, she has been involved in various ensemble groups, and has developed a wide range of musical interests, such as singing, playing piano and violin and writing her own songs.
She has appeared several times on ABC Northcoast Radio and has performed at several events and festivals over the years, such as Casino Beef Week, Tamworth Country Music Festival and the Abbey Museum Medieval Festival. After years of playing violin amongst session groups and attending folk music gatherings, she formed her own Celtic band ‘The Strayin Celts’, who went on to win several busking competitions nationally and began playing around different areas of the Northern Rivers, NSW.
Felicity is also known as ‘Filly Mack’ on music streaming platforms like Spotify and iTunes, where she has combined her skills on violin, piano and voice and produced her own, original music as an independent artist. She released her first debut album in 2022, and just launched her fifth single this year, featuring soft pop vocals, piano ballad arrangements and whimsical appearances of violin.
Felicity is passionate about creating an enjoyable learning experience for students within the teaching environment. She places heavy emphasis on finding the right learning style for each student, according to their unique abilities, and focuses on helping students to feel well supported in their learning journey.
