Experience

Kieran Larkey is a guitar teacher, session musician, composer and solo artist. He has taught for over 20 years privately in one on one and group class settings, in Public & private schools, music shops and academies in NSW and Victoria.

He teaches all ages from beginners to advance in many different styles for both Electric and Acoustic guitar and Bass Guitar from Rock and metal to classical, finger picking, country ,blues, spanish and more. Guitar lessons are tailored to the individual to either introduce them to learning the guitar or getting past a feeling of being stuck in their playing or creativity. He focuses on Rhythm and lead playing as he sees them equally important.

Kieran has played in original and cover bands, is the composer for his own band Zyphoyd and is a Electric and acoustic solo artist. He has shared the stage with Phil Emmanuel, Brett Garsed (John Farnham) The Whitlams, Joe Robinson (winner of Australia’s Got Talent 2nd season), Chain, Dave Hole, and was invited to submit his own material to a competition judged in America by Tony Macalpine (Steve Vai band).
