To ensure a smooth transition and continue providing you with the best possible service, we kindly ask you to read this blog in its entirety. Towards the end, you will find updated terms and conditions that accompany these exciting changes. Your acceptance of these terms is crucial for the successful enrollment of your child in our updated music lessons system.

If you have Credit from TERM 4 – 2023, this will be prorated in the first invoice 2024. If you choose not to continue, please ask for a refund before December 31, 2023. Otherwise, the credit will be lost.

Payment of fees implies your acceptance of Resonator Music’s terms and conditions and your agreement to abide by these terms and conditions.

The Parent Portal in your Home Screen!

In our commitment to providing you with a seamless and convenient experience, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our new mobile app!

This app will serve as your one-stop destination for managing your child’s music lessons, accessing payments, and staying updated on all things related to Resonator Music.

Once you have registered, you will be prompt to a unique login link.

1. Login to the Student portal using this link

2. Click the “Share” icon on the iOS browser toolbar.

3. Scroll down and tap the “Add to Home Screen“

If you are using Android, tap the 3 stacked dots located at the top right of the screen. Tap “Install App” to bookmark this page. Tap “Add“.

Introducing the Make-Up Self System:

Your Convenience, Our Priority!

We understand that life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and scheduling conflicts can often disrupt the flow of music lessons. To address this, we are delighted to introduce our new Make-Up Self System, designed to empower you with the flexibility to reschedule lessons at your convenience. This user-friendly feature puts you in control, allowing you to seamlessly manage your child’s music lessons with ease.

When a student cancels a lesson with enough time (20 hours prior to the lesson or before), an automatic “Make-Up” slot will be created. See the conditions for Make-up lessons here.

1. Open your Desktop App or from a computer Login to the Student portal

2. In the Calendar, navigate through the weeks in the future. You will see in colour the available slots for a Make-Up lesson with your same teacher, and Open Slots for a different teacher.

Select, and Register.

3. If you DON’T SEE the Register button, it could be because you don’t have available make-up credits to use.

REMEMBER: All the no-scheduled or used make-up lessons will expire on the last day of each term, and credits are not refundable.

Farewell to Package Cancellation Fees.

As a token of our appreciation for your continued support, we are bidding farewell to cancellation fees. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we want to eliminate any concerns about the financial implications of unavoidable cancellations.

Instead, we will apply an enrolment fee of $45 payable on the initial registration per family each year. This fee is credited for the first lesson as a Casual Lesson or Rebel Package, but is no-refundable for the Rock Star Membership.

New Terms and Conditions 2024

We hope this newsletter finds you in great spirits! At Resonator Music & Tuition, we are constantly striving to enhance the musical journey of our students, and we are thrilled to share some exciting updates with you.

These are some of our changes. We recommend to read all the terms and conditions before Re-Enrol for 2024.

Enrolment Fees

An enrolment fee of $45 is payable on the initial registration per family. This fee is credited for the first lesson as a Casual Lesson or Rebel Package, but is no-refundable for the Rock Star Membership.

Credits and Refunds.

Multiple casual lessons and packages that are terminated during the school term cannot and are not refunded.

Credits or refunds are only given due to tutor or supplementary tutor absence.

Failure to submit an absence 20 hours before the lesson, RM won’t give credits, refunds or make-up lessons.

Absences and Make-Up Lessons

20 hours notice is required to submit an absence. It will allow the parent or student to schedule a make-up lesson through their Parent Portal.

The make-up lessons for absences can be only used during the ongoing term.

All the no-scheduled or used make-up lessons will expire on the last day of each term.

A $2 administration fee will be effective for every single lesson cancelled by our staff (requested by email or phone). The student/parent is responsible for cancelling their own lessons using the Parent Portal.

Letting the teacher know via text, email or phone call won’t make the absence effective.

Attendance and Penalties

Only 1 booked lesson can be cancelled twice in a row. If the same lesson is cancelled for the third time or the third week in a row, this lesson will be automatically lost, and no make-up or credit will be given.

Being absent for 4 lessons in a row, will automatically cancel the package or membership, and the slot will be released to the public, and the credit won’t be refunded.

Warning emails will be sent for unpaid lessons or declined payments. If 2 days after the warning email the payment hasn’t been processed by the parent or student, a late fee of $10 will be applied.

If the lesson remains unpaid 24 hours before the next lesson, the service will be suspended (lesson cancelled) until the payment is made.

Packages Cancellations

For new students starting music lessons, the first lesson is considered a paid trial lesson. If the student wishes not to continue in a package, the remaining lessons will be refunded in full.

For enrolled students under the Rebel Package or with pre-paid casual lessons, who elected to continue after the first lesson, payments received are regarded as a commitment to lessons for the term and refunds or credits are not provided.

The Rockstar Membership is the only option with a no-refundable registration fee. This fee covers the membership cancellation at any time.
